You’ll hear the latest Food News this week.  In just the past two weeks, we’ve learned that Tyson Foods is closing its Perry, Iowa processing plant firing over 2,000 workers, AND, the company set up recruitment and hiring centers in New York bending over backwards and catering to what some are generously calling “undocumented workers.”   There’s no way to sugarcoat this… American patriots are upset at Tyson’s actions and are taking action… by boycotting ALL products/brands owned and sold by Tyson.

While we are not advocating a boycott, we are big believers in transparency and knowing where your foods come from.  If you’re keeping track of your purchases, you might want to know what different food products come from Tyson, including:

About Elizabeth Dougherty

Elizabeth Dougherty has been cooking and writing about food intensively for more than ten years. She is the fourth generation of chefs and gourmet grocers in her family with her mother, Francesca Esposito and grandmother, Carmella being major influences in her early cooking years. As a teenager, her family sent her to Europe where she became focused on French and Italian cuisine.
