RV BOONDOCKING NIGHT OF TERROR – Sure, I talk a big game about the joys of boondocking and I’ve done it for a couple hours here or there. So, in case you don’t know, boondocking is stopping somewhere and parking there. To meet the definition, it’s always for free to take a nap or even overnight. People do it at places like Walmart, Lowe’s, big gas/rest stations like Pilot and Flying J. Additional places are rest stops on the highway and many other places.

What happened?

This week, we took a trip to Jetty Park in Port Canaveral, Florida and stopped for a night along the way. I have to say, I didn’t handle it very well. Have a listen:

About Elizabeth Dougherty

Elizabeth Dougherty has been cooking and writing about food intensively for more than ten years. She is the fourth generation of chefs and gourmet grocers in her family with her mother, Francesca Esposito and grandmother, Carmella being major influences in her early cooking years. As a teenager, her family sent her to Europe where she became focused on French and Italian cuisine. She survived a year and half of culinary tutelage under a maniacal Swiss-German chef and is a graduate of NYIT, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business and Labor Relations.
