A new Ohio State University study has come out that confirms what we’ve already known about the connection in Fatty Foods Bad For The Brain

Eating just one meal that’s high in saturated fat can hinder our ability to concentrate.  51 women participated in a study that measured their attention after they ate either a meal high in saturated fat or the same meal made with sunflower oil, which is high in unsaturated fat.

This won’t be a shock to Food Nation Radio listeners, but the results showed lower brain performance after eating the thigh-saturated-fat meal.  The study suggests a connection between the gut and the brain and the brain’s activity.  It’s why we discuss “Fatty Foods Bad For The Brain” .
