The 2023 Farm Bill is being hammered out in a joint house/senate committee hearing, but here’s what you need to know: this enormous and far-reaching piece of legislation codifies big government socialism and the takeover of the food systems in this country. When signed into law, this horrible bill would incorporate digital monitoring of the entire food chain system from farm-to-table, what you are able to purchase, and then what happens to what you throw away. In a move to disguise their true motives (and to help secure votes from red-state politicians) SNAP recipients will be required to complete some type of “work.” We will be watching this story closely.
