AN UNBIASED LOOK AT THE FIRST THANKSGIVING

AN UNBIASED LOOK AT THE FIRST THANKSGIVING
The TRUTH about Food and Travel
Broadcast Date:  11/18/2023

This isn’t a new concept in education, it’s been happening slowly over the past several decades.

Instead of simply teaching students the events of history and how those milestones are important and relevant today, our so-called “education” system is imploring students to look at those historical events and to judge them by an invented set of politically-charged standards.  One such event is that of the very first Thanksgiving feast in 1621.  Our “education system” has interspersed the modern-day concept of colonialism into the Thanksgiving event.  So instead gathering with others and celebrating our blessing as President Abraham Lincoln described “a day of thanks,” students view the day with contempt, loathing and suspicion.

Thus in the minds of these “educated” students, it’s okay (and even morally acceptable) to tear down statues, destroy artifacts/paintings, ban books/music, create vicious hate-filled social media posts, and even re-write historical events… all to satisfy their warped viewpoint of those events.

In this segment you’ll hear from a descendent of the Wampanoag tribe, the native Americans who celebrated that Thanksgiving meal with the Pilgrims. The events of that day are NOT being accurately taught in our schools.

We may not live long enough to see it, but history will not judge kindly our teaching of history.
