It’s a project that’s funded by the world’s most famous eugenicist Bill Gates (and his Foundation) and is applied during the growing process. The company that make Appel says it’s safe. The FDA deems Appel to be GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) and has allowed its use for several years. But is it safe?
