NATION BACON DAY – SEVEN RECIPES

“Bacon is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”

Benjamin Franklin

December 30th has been declared “National Bacon Day” and in celebration, we’ve selected SEVEN recipes from the Food Nation Radio Kitchen that include BACON.  It’s nice that BACON has its own DAY but in our opinion, BACON deserves an entire WEEK of celebration.

Enjoy!

Butternut Squash Soup with Mascarpone and Bacon
Winter Weather Chili, Cornbread, Dip & Apple Pie
The Most Amazing Ribs EVER !!!
Chicken Roulade with Sautéed Spinach
Coq Au Vin
Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Julia Child’s Potato Salad, Champagne Gold Pineapple Cole Slaw
Vegetarian Carbonara? It’s Possible AND Tasty   (USE REAL BACON INSTEAD)
