In 2022, we brought you the dramatic story of a woman whose disruptive actions led flight attendants to restrain her in her seat using duct tape. Picture the tense scene: a packed airplane cabin with passengers looking on in shock as flight attendants secure a woman (who was obviously in distress) with duct tape. This incident resulted in the largest fine in FAA history, but the woman has refused to pay. Now, the FAA is suing her, seeking justice and enforcement of the fine. We’re watching firsthand the legal battle between agencies of the federal government and private citizens.
