We love recipes that incorporate more protein into them, including our chocolate truffles. Do It Yourself Almond Butter is a way to have fresh butter and know what’s in it. It’s great to do this in a pinch, when you are out of peanut butter or any other kind of nut butter.
INGREDIENTS – Do It Yourself Almond Butter
2 Cups Almonds
Roast on a sheet pan at 350F for 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly. Buzz in the processor for several minutes, scraping it down when needed, until smooth with a glisten. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or use immediately.
