Homemade Chicken Parmigiana Sandwiches

 

If you want to make homemade chicken parmigiana sandwiches (or parmesan) it’s quick and easy. Here’s how to make this recipe:

Ingredients to Make Homemade Chicken Parmigiana Sandwiches

1 lb ground chicken

1 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp salt

pinch of white pepper

1 tsp powdered garlic

1/2 cup good marinara sauce

2 beaten eggs, in a separate bowl

1 cup bread crumbs, on a plate

1/2 cup marinara

4 slices Italian cheese

Homemade burger buns

cooking spray plus 2 TB olive oil

Method

In a bowl, mix spices, salt and pepper with chicken with 2 TB water

Form into 4 quarters

Form first quarter into a patty, dip in egg wash, then coat in bread crumbs, place on silpat lined baking sheet

Continue with other three quarters, doing the same thing

Preheat oven to 350F

Spray frying pan with cooking spray, put over medium. high heat

Add olive oil

Fry patties in pan until golden on each side. Don’t burn.

Place back on baking sheet.

Add marinara to the top of each patty

Bake for 10 minutes.

Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty.

Bake an additional 5 minutes or until internal temp is 170F

Enjoy on buns. Now you can make chicken parmigiana sandwiches at home!
