In our travel news this week, you’ll hear how the UK is implementing an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) plan that will require you to pay a fee and register your visit. The system will be fully active by 2025. It sure does sound like a digital passport with active monitoring capabilities. Before you shake your head and think how terrible and intrusive it is for the UK to implement such a system like this, the US already has a system like this in place!
