Elizabeth Gets an RV Letter from the DMV – Embarrassing! From the 10/23/21 show: We learned a valuable lesson… double check your RV insurance policy carefully. Even though both are considered “RVs” there’s a HUGE difference between the insurance coverage that’s needed for a travel trailer (pulled behind a car or truck) and a motorcoach (that has an engine!).
Even though we provided the VIN, the insurance company (that supposedly specializes IN insuring recreational vehicles) did not recognize that ours was a motorcoach and gave us the wrong coverages. While it seems like a small detail, it was a HUGE error that could have cost us dearly.
