FOOD NATION RADIO TASTE TEST

So here’s how our taste tests work:

Elizabeth picks three of more producers (or restaurants) featuring the same product and allows Michael (who is an average Joe when it comes to food) to test them, make notes, and then report the results of this very unscientific challenge.

This week, in honor of “the big game” we selected pulled pork… with entries from Sonny’s BBQ, Bubbalou’s Bodacious BBQ, and Porkies Original BBQ.

The results were surprising – and we URGE you to try it yourself!

In all fairness (and because Michael LOVES pulled pork sandwiches) this is a test that will be conducted again soon with other central Florida / Orlando restaurants.

Elizabeth Dougherty has been cooking and writing about food intensively for more than ten years. She is the fourth generation of chefs and gourmet grocers in her family with her mother, Francesca Esposito and grandmother, Carmella being major influences in her early cooking years.
